video of Arthur’s X Factor audition to see his humble beginnings.

“Impossible” became the most successful single released by any of The X Factors winners in the past years. It sat on the number one spot on the UK Singles Chart in its first week of release. He released his second single “ You’re Nobody ‘til Somebody Loves You,” and it reached the second spot on the UK Singles Chart.

He was blazing in this career until he got involved in controversies. The first one was the homophobic lyrics in one of his songs. It even led iTunes to refund customers who are complaining about the song. Another blunder on his lyrics resulted to his parting with Syco.

He continued with his career independently, producing singles and album which were well received.

In 2016, he was signed back in Syco, and he released later that year his hit song “Say You Won’t Let Go.” It is not climbing the charts and is a great comeback for his career. The song keeps on his acoustic, croony, vibe and the lyrics go straight to the heart. The song is easy to the ear and can evoke feelings of falling in love. You can watch the official video of the song here to know what we are talking about.

But the saga on Arthur’s career seems to be never ending as there is news that there is a copyright lawsuit brewing for this hit song “Say You Won’t Let Go.” Imagem Music, the publishing company behind the song “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” by The Script, has already launched a copyright investigation due to the similarities between the two songs.

We hope that this does not put a damper on Arthur’s uprising career. Other artists were sued, but their careers kept flourishing. Just leave it to your lawyers, James. Keep making good music. Your fans are behind you. Good luck!
